Their volunteer groups provide food packets, meds, and groceries to needy people during pandemic covid situations; while we are sitting in the comfort of their homes, locked away with amenities, there are people out in the streets, slums, and parts of the city who have no access to food or water. The worst hit by the Coronavirus pandemic is the daily wage workers who can’t even afford to have proper meals. Still, some good Samaritans are taking to the streets of Tamilnadu & Kerala and helping the needy and the homeless by giving them free meals, medicines, and groceries.

We distribute free food packets and groceries to the poor and daily wage workers in significant cities Coimbatore, erode, Salem, Dindigul, Palani, Trichy Madurai, Chennai, Kochi, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, Palakkad, Thrissur.

Ayngaran Akshaya dharma has reached out to low-income and vulnerable communities in 20+ settlements across cities in the Greater Tamilnadu area, with 1,500 families. We give the daily and weekly wage workers introductory grocery provisions in Greater Tamilnadu Districts. One month of groceries for a family of 5.

We provide support in two ways. One is by distributing food grain packets, including rice, oil, dal, atta (flour), soap, sugar, and biscuits. And the other one is by distributing cooked food that is hygienically prepared and given to the homeless along with fruit.

As the COVID-19 crisis continues to loom over us, The Government of India has taken strict combat measures by directing a lockdown of the entire nation. In this great hour of need, The Ayngaran Foundation, in close coordination with State Governments & District Administration, has stepped in to provide relief by providing food to thousands of people across the state
